HELLBREACH
A retro demon shooter in pixel art, built for the DualSense.
Hell has broken through, and you're the one sent in to close the breach. Hellbreach is a fast, bloody old-school shooter in the spirit of '90s classics: chunky pixel-art demons, gothic halls lit by braziers and stained glass, heavy-metal music, and guns that kick like a mule. It plays straight in your browser, with full PS5 DualSense support including rumble.
Three episodes, fourteen levels
Episode I, The Burning Throne: fight through a burning forge, a rusted cathedral and a toxic bile works. It ends with the Ash Tyrant, a winged giant on a throne of fire.
Episode II, The Hollow Deep: go down through catacombs of bone, a frozen keep, a living flesh hive and a spire over a purple void, to face the Hollow King, a four-armed lich in an iron crown.
Episode III, The Iron Abyss: storm a gilded citadel, magma caverns, a steel foundry and a sanctum of screams. The finale throws both lords of hell at you at once.
Every level has keys to find, locked doors, hidden walls with secrets behind them, and an exit portal to reach.
Ten weapons, each with its own reload
Hand Cannon: a revolver.
Scattergun: a double-barrel shotgun.
Rivet Cannon: a spinning rotary gun.
Plasma Caster: charge it up for an orb shot.
Hellfire Launcher: fires rockets.
Sunder Lance: a beam that pierces everything in a line.
Ripper: sawblades that ricochet off walls.
Stormcaller: chain lightning, plus a lightning storm you can call down.
Pyre: a flamethrower that sets demons on fire.
Singularity Cannon: fires black holes.
Every gun has its own recoil, its own feel, and a hand-animated reload.
A full bestiary
Shambling husks, fireball-hurling scorchers, leaping gnashers, rifle-wielding zealots, screeching flyers, teleporting hexpriests, exploding bloaters, and hulking mini-bosses like the Forge Brute and the Iron Warden.
Built to feel brutal
Punch, dash, double-tap and throw grenades.
Demons burst into pixel gore.
You can play in first person or switch to a third-person view.
